Some Down Time in November
Happy Belated Thanksgiving!
I hope you were able to spend some quality time with your family!
Since returning from Asia, I have settled back into low key training. My goal is to stay fresh before really hitting the gas in the coming weeks. It can be important to give your mind and body rest in order to land on your feet for those tough training blocks.

What’s Happening?
At the beginning of the month, I was still in Asia. I enjoyed vacation with my parents and fiancée in Hong Kong, where I was born. It was fun seeing the hospital I was born in and the house I spent the first two years of my life in, even though I didn't remember anything from when I lived there!
Upon returning to Missouri, I attended a football game, spent time with friends and let Violet run free at the farm. She attended puppy university while I was in Asia and is super well behaved now!
The latter half of November I went home to Minnesota. I love seeing all my extended family over the holidays. Being with them is one of my main strategies for decompressing from the stress of training, competing and traveling.
Looking Ahead
Shortly, I will be heading off to Greensboro, North Carolina for the US Open. This competition will run from December 4th to the 7th and will be competed in the short course yards format.
After that, I am looking forward to my clinic scheduled with River Crossing YMCA in Philadelphia December 21st and 22nd!
